Five hundred Aiways U5 electric crossovers have already been exported from China. From July this year, all of them will be included in the fleet of Hertz Corsica, a car rental company on the island of Corsica. At first, the Aiways U5 will be available for rental only. Later it will be possible to acquire ownership and use by subscription. First of all, the model will be brought to Germany, Norway, Switzerland, the Netherlands and, most likely, to France. Aiways U5 will be the first electric vehicle made in China to officially enter the EU. The appearance of this model into the European market, originally planned for April 2020, has been postponed to August due to coronavirus.
