The Gloucestershire police force now has 75 electric vehicles in use - 66 Nissan Leaf and nine e-NV200. This is Britain's largest electric police fleet which is now operating in Gloucestershire in south-west England. With the new 75 electric cars, 21 per cent of Gloucestershire's entire fleet is electric. The police hope that the cheaper operation of e-vehicles will save them fuel costs and maintenance of £ 136,000 a year - and thus wants to finance the acquisition of additional e-vehicles. The e-share of the fleet is expected to increase to 40 per cent in the next four years. Via https://www.electrichunter.com/ev-news/gloucester-police-force-buys-75-electric-cars Comments are closed.
