Renault has introduced the new Clio E-Tech, the hybrid version of its popular Clio, at Brussels Motor Show. The new Renault Clio E-Tech has as its main engine a 1.6 petrol engine, which is combined with two other electric motors. The total power of the car is 140 hp, thanks to which it can do 80-120km / h in just 6.9 seconds. The Clio E-Tech mounts a 1.2 kWh lithium-ion battery that operates at 230 V, located under the boot, which allows it to circulate fully electrically at speeds of up to 75 km / h for short periods of time. According to Renault, in the city, it is possible to drive in electric mode 80% of the time, so that fuel consumption can be reduced by up to forty percent compared to a petrol Clio.
