Renault Trucks has signed a contract with the Carlsberg Group for the delivery of 20 fully electric 26-ton D-type ZE trucks. The electric trucks are to be delivered to the Swiss brewery Feldschlösschen later this year. The heavy electric fleet will travel between 100 and 200 kilometres a day to supply Swiss customers from the 15 logistics centres of the Feldschlösschen brewery. The D Wide ZE in the Renault Trucks range is actually a truck variant specially optimized for waste transport. In this form, the electric D Wide ZE is used in the greater Lyon area for some time.
