Aston Martin's first electric car will arrive by 2026. In the past, the British brand had planned several times the launch of electric cars. The closest to making it to production was the "Aston Martin Rapide E Prototype" which was cancelled due to economic problems. Speaking of electric cars, there is no mention of them before 2025/2026. The timings were announced by Tobias Moers, the brand's new CEO, who also added that the future electric car will use Mercedes-Benz technology. In fact, an important agreement was recently signed between Aston Martin and Mercedes-Benz. The British manufacturer will be able to access the technology of the German brand, including that of electric vehicles, in exchange for a large shareholding in the company.
